A dynamic leader in technical vocational education and training producing quality graduates and highly employable competent world-class skilled workforce in agri-fishery and technology related programs.
Mission
SNCAT as TVET leader shall:
- Provide and cater competency-based quality skills technical education and training among the youths, out-of-school youths and middle- class workers in the rural communities, giving high priority and concern also in the educational plight and welfare of women/indigenous people/muslims in the countryside;
- Showcase entrepreneurship models, best practices and technology break through creativity and innovation; and
- Integrate multi-sectoral and collaborative efforts among other line agencies in carrying out its four-fold functions, namely: instruction, research, extension and production.
Goals
- Offer regular, short-term and community-based programs in the field of agri-fisheries and other technology related programs;
- Develop and increase productivity and profitability among existing IGEs;
- Implement and strengthen research and extension services;
- Continuously upgrade human resources capability of faculty and staff;
- Upgrade and acquire necessary equipment and facilities;
- Establish strong linkages with LGUs, POs, NGOs, Private Industries and Business Firms and other Government Line Agencies.
